Editor's note: Born in Blood reads best in publication order. In this list, Luca Vitiello appears as book 0 because it's Bound by Honor (book 1) told from Luca's POV: although it was published later, many readers place it at the start as a prequel. IMPORTANT: it is NOT recommended as the real entry point to the series, it works better read after Bound by Honor, because it assumes you already know the story. If it's your first time, start with Bound by Honor (book 1). Bound by Love (#6) and Bound by the Past (#7) revisit couples already introduced (Aria and Luca; Dante and Valentina). Bound by Blood (#8) is an anthology with bonus scenes of several couples. For the full chronological experience, the author recommends slotting The Camorra Chronicles in between Bound by Love and Bound by the Past. Born in Blood is the first of the three Coraverse series (Born in Blood, Camorra Chronicles, Sins of the Fathers), all interconnected.

Bound by Honor told from Luca's POV. I was born a monster. Cruelty ran in my veins long before I became the man I am. Luca Vitiello, future Capo dei Capi, never thought an imposed wife could mean anything to him. This book retells the story of Bound by Honor from the hero's mind: his thoughts, his inner struggle, his demons, and the exact moment cold strategy turned into something he couldn't name. Although it appears here as book 0, it's not recommended as an entry point to the series: it's far more rewarding once you already know Aria and Luca's original story. A must-read for anyone who loves Luca.
