Reading Order - Kingdom Duet

Rina Kent

๐Ÿ’• Aurora Harper & Jonathan King

Jonathan King's duet, Aiden's father and the most elegant villain in the Rinaverse. Aurora Harper comes back to London to save her company and ends up declaring war on the last man she should, her sister Alicia's widower, much older than her and one of the most powerful businessmen in England. He is cold, calculating and used to everyone bending the knee, she is the daughter of a serial killer who rebuilt herself from scratch and has zero intention of being conquered. Between mysterious recordings from her dead sister, family secrets and chemistry that burns, they wage a war where nobody plays fair. Age gap, forbidden love and a king who finally finds his queen.

Reading style ยท Strict order

Read strictly in this order โ€” the books connect directly.

Editor's note: Strict order, no way around it. The best place to start is Rule of a Kingdom, the short prequel of about 40 pages that introduces Jonathan and sets everything up for Aurora to step onto the stage. Then comes Reign of a King, which ends on a cliffhanger, and Rise of a Queen picks up right there to close the story with a HEA. None of the three works on its own. The prequel is a download from the author's website, it is not sold in stores. The duet is a Royal Elite spin-off: Jonathan is Aiden's dad and the story kicks off at Aiden and Elsa's wedding, so it carries spoilers for that series. You can read it without having read Royal Elite, but it hits so much harder if you already know the Kings. It belongs to the Rinaverse, Rina Kent's shared universe.
