I came to this book specifically looking for the secret baby trope, yes, I'm that specific when I search for what to read. And Luciano delivered in every way. Grace and Luciano meet under the most intense mafia circumstances, feelings begin to bloom, and then everything falls apart because of a misunderstanding that shatters Luciano's trust in her and forces her to run, pregnant, heartbroken, with only her best friend by her side. Three years later, Luciano finds her. With a son he didn't know existed. And then the good part begins: watching him go into full groveling mode, trying to win back a woman who is no longer the same one he let escape. Because Grace grew, and that's what I loved most. The chemistry between them is a constant flame, and the story doesn't let go for a single moment. I loved it.
